Yinchiao (Yinqiao), also called Yin Chiao Plus, Yin Qiao Jie Du Wan, Yin Chiao Chieh Du Wan, or Yin Chiao Chieh Tu Pien, is one of the most well-known formulas in the Chinese herbal system. Yin Chiao is highly-regarded for its ability to nourish and strengthen the body if taken immediately after the onset of common cold or flu symptoms.
Chinese herbalists believe that cold/flu germs remain on the surface for a short period of time after entering the body. It is during this critical time that Yin Chiao can be most effective in reducing body stress.

Functions:
Dispels pathogenic wind, clears heat, resolves toxin, benefits the throat, relieves thirst, diffuses lung qi.

Indications:
Use to strengthen and nourish the immune system.

Comes in two formulations
The basic formula is available as Yin Chiao Chieh Tu Pien Tablets- sugar-coated, an easy to swallow tablet.
The extract formula - Yin Chiao Chieh Tu Pien Extract Tablets - contains no sugar.

Directions:

Sugar-coated formula: As a dietary supplement, for adults: 3-5 tablets, 3x per day; children 2 tablets.
Regular formula: 4 tablets, 3x per day

If not effective in the first 24-48 hours, discontinue use and switch to Gan Mao Ling.
