This was recommended for me to try on an older horse.  I used the oil plus moxabustion.  It had a nice smell.  When combined with the moxabustion, it smelled even better.  Both humans and horse enjoyed it!  The horse always likes to be moxa'ed, but she really seemed to enjoy it even more with the oil - her eyes were closed and she was very still.
P.S.  I gave the oil to the horse owner and bought more for myself!
