Eleuthero Root Tablets (Wu Jian Shen) is a superb tonic with many uses. Eleutherococos Wu Jia Shen is also known as eleutheroginseng and
Siberian ginseng. Traditionally, the Chinese used the bark (Ci Wu Jia),
not the root, for wind damp bi conditions (old aches and pains). It is recognized as a superb
tonic for kidney qi (both yin and yang) and is recommended following
childbirth or surgery and in the aged. It is commonly used
to tonify qi and is a native herb of Changbai mountain which Chinese herbalists have been
used for thousands of years to help support proper immune function.*
TCM Function: Tonifies kidney qi, regulates yin and yang, benefits jing, moves qi and
invigorates blood, calms shen.
Indications: Use for weak heart and kidney qi and yin; also for jing
depletion or poor sexual vitality; can be used for stagnation of qi and blood. Often taken as a tonic
during recovery for rehabilitation; it is used as a qi tonic following
radiation, chemotherapy and surgery.*
